It seems to be part of the old playbook to weaken our law enforcement so when the full force of Antifa and BLM come in, there won't be enough police left to bring them down and restore order.
There is a flip side to that thought.
There won't be enough police to save their sorry asses from the righteous wrath to come, either. The police would be kind and professional compared to the shit that's going to get 'em.
Maybe they just didn't think this thing through well enough, but them's the breaks.
