China has almost 5 times the GDP of India (14 T versus 3 T) and on paper India is out classed in every department of military assets by a large margin.

One thing to consider is how much military hardware is actually deployable in that terrain.  Bet a lot of the helicopters will have issues because of altitude, as one example.  The Chinese will also have to watch all of the other areas in which they've annoyed their neighbors.
