Seriously - these folks think the feds are gonna airburst a nuke over NJ to cause an EMP for a "drill"?
Nope.
Over and above the fact that above ground nuke tests are still illegal - and a nuke airburst would surely be noticed by someone, possibly several someones - and ignoring the fact that no one would notice that NJ went missing, why on earth would they spend that much money just to drop NJ off the grid for a few months?
Those nuke blasts are not cheap, and NJ is not worth nuking.
