That Idiot Biden Blames the Oil Companies for the High Prices and say they are Not Drilling.

During a speech in Los Angeles Friday, President Joe Biden blamed record gas prices on the oil industry and said that U.S. oil companies like Exxon Mobil Corp were raking in massive profits this past year.

Biden also accused the largest U.S. oil company of spending their profits on stock purchases, rather than using it to drill and produce more oil.

"Why aren't they drilling? Because they make more money not producing more oil," the president said. "Exxon, start investing and start paying your taxes."

Exxon responded to Biden’s comments saying the company has spent tens of billions in taxes and continues to expand its operations.

"We have been in regular contact with the administration, informing them of our planned investments to increase production and expand refining capacity in the United States," spokesman Casey Norton said, Reuters reported.

"Oil companies, instead of everybody, says, 'Well, Biden won't let them drill.' They have 9,000 drilling sites that they already own that are there. They're not doing it," Biden said to the host. "You know why? Because they make more money not drilling and buying back their own stock."

While pushing the blame for oil, the president took credit for the "fastest-growing economy in the world."

Whose fault is it?
It is this administrations Fault.
First thing Biden did in office was shut down Keystone pipeline. It is literally Democratic Party policy to reduce oil and gas infrastructure and increase the cost of energy so alternatives become more competitive.
But all Alternative Source FAIL!

The Biden administration is pushing for electric cars, solar panels, and windmills. Not because they are proven to be a better source of energy, but because they all have large amounts of personal money invested in green energy.
Obama/Biden/Clinton and their liberal cronies are corrupt to the core and hate capitalism. They destroyed our economy with the lockdowns, inflation ,and immigration amnesty. The Affordable Care Act has been nothing short of a disaster.  My gas is up to $5.80 a gallon, grocery bill up big.
Everyone in the Biden administration is a leftover from the Obama administration and this is what the counted on Clinton to push forward during her Presidency. Follow the money!

Biden is the king of disinformation. Why drill when you can’t get pipeline permits to produce your well, or permits for water to cement and frac the well, or new compressor stations to transport the gas?  Biden has hit the oil and gas industry with over 10,000 new regulations to shut it down. Then Biden wants Russia and China to provide the mining and refining of rare earths and lithium to control American energy.
Exxon better make money while it can. It has thousands of wells to plug and abandon, and thousands of miles of pipelines to remove in America.
