If Hunter is NOT immediately [within the next 24hrs] indicted THEN heads should roll at BOTH the FBI and also Justice depts.

Once the tide turned on Nixon, i.e. his party going against him, the dominoes fell quickly and a deal was made.  Ford pardoned Nixon right away, before he was indicted.  It was all over before we hardly knew it.
