My husband watched both videos yesterday in to the night.
He said it was hard to watch. "Yes, we were Young and Believed and I still see their Faces".
That was his second tour then he was recruited for the Agency when he returned home.
Mr. G talked to his friends in his sleep again last night.
It is hard for many who lost friends and survived some of the stuff that went on ... I just think of the people who lost limbs or became partial crispy critters whereby everyday they are reminded by their disfigured body. All wars for whatever reason suck unless you are unharmed and victorious...... at times very satisfying. Then it is over with only memories, dreams, and war stories left..
