Of course most of us knew it but didn't know the extent.

Most of us " 'round here " ...

What's sad is how many zombies there are out there who swallow it ... hook, line and sinker ... every time they turn on 'the tube'.

They get so damned aggressive (these day) when you start showing them evident cracks in the story-line and ask 'em, "Why's that?"  They don't have an answer, and all of a sudden they're thinking of beatin' your ass because you're about to take down their narrative using them against themselves.  It's pathetic.

Load yer damned mags.  There's a storm rolling in on us. 

You hit on a salient point. Trying to engage with that mindset is dang near impossible. The only response is -ist'isms. My intuition tells me they don't want to engage. They don't want to resolve. They don't want to build. Not very helpful for a brighter future.
