Meh. I'll never see that 600 bucks, so they can blithely pass all the crap they want to in DC - it won't reach me. I'm still waiting for the first "stimulus check". Hell, I'm still waiting for the BUSH stimulus check!
So I don't much care what they do in DC anymore. They're spending the nation into oblivion, and none of that ever filters down to me. Bet they come knocking at the door without fail when the bill is due, though. But, since I never got any of it to spend, I feel no compulsion to pay any of it back.
The politicians can pay it back - they spent it... somewhere...
