I always thought that it was giants that built ancient sites like Baalbek. There are many ancient ruins that are built on top of impossibility huge foundation stones, and I don't think it was stone age humans that put them there.
Also, there are innumerable old buildings with massive doors in them, who were those doors built for? Stolen History used to have some great threads on this, the architecture on it's own is a huge rabbit hole, worthy of its own thread.
There definitely were giants, I don't know who they were, but I suspect the Smithsonian has the evidence in a vault somewhere.
