I can see some dead people on the voter rolls. People pass away all the time. It may or may not catch up with the rolls right away.
However... This is a situation ripe for fraud. Especially with the relaxed mail-in rules going on in some states.
The part that really gets me PO-ed is this is not a difficult problem to solve. You can name a dozen or more government agencies at any level which can immediately draw upon a data base in real time. See what happens when you get pulled over sometime. Or buy a fishing license. In my state, up to date tax records are on-line for all property owners. Wanna buy a gun? Talk about integrated data bases.
And the same folks who get all warm and fuzzy over tracking people with chips and universal ID cards suddenly become Patrick Henry reincarnate when it comes to voter ID.
