In my younger days, I've had a streak of "Pagan" years (was a practicing Pagan for well over a decade) and did look at Satanism as some of their traits appealed to me.
But the bottom line was that they promote the "Me first, above all else.." philosophy and that just didn't agree with me.
While "Me first" would be nice at times, I'm more the "You first" type of person.
Satanism, Paganism, all out the door now as I tend more on the Atheist (or there's something bigger than us but I can't figure out what it is anymore or if it even exists) side of things.
Old age and all of that...yada yada yada...
Just to add: Those freaks in the OP picture represent mental illness to me, not Satanism.
