Nancy Grace was still on the boob tube playing in the bar.

"Maria Stark is a pedophile pure and simple.. " Nancy Grace spoke through the Televison, "She was caught after the judge told her to stay away from her former student. Now she is pregnant with this poor child's kid.. I would love to be the prosecutor inn this.. I do not blame her lawyer for withdrawing.."

An arabic man drank half a beer and sat it sdown.. His phone rang as he stared at it.. After the fifth rang Akbaar picked it up, "I.. Julie.. I need a lttle time to decompress baby.. I will be home ok.. I will take cab.."

"Honey.. It is ok.. It is nothing to be ashamed of.."

"Julie.. I just did not have the pedigree.. " Seeing the well groomed man on the television speak, "F@#$ you A$$hole!! your son did not deserve that position.. I was at the barbe que.."

"Ali.. Baby.. It was the prosecutor in the Maria Stark case's son who got the position," Julie seemed upset.. "He cant even do his own work.. You helped him write his papers.. He got the position?"

A voice spoke as he walked over with a beer, "Because like his father he graduated from Harvard.. Bribed his way to the top of the Class Julie.."

"Is that you Alex," Julie called from the phone..

"It is me darlin.. How are your three little rug rats?"

"Please make sure my baby gets home.. " Julie seemed relieved, "I.."

"I promise to talk with Ali," alex sat down across from the depressed man.. 

"You know you ," ali took a deep breath when he caught a glare.. "Julie I will call you back later my love.."

"Talk with alex baby. I can hold out.. I have been saving money.. If I have to I can go down to the Wally world and get a second job as a cashier.." Julie blew a kiss on the phone, "Do not end up oweing Alex baby.."

After she hung up Alex was watching Nancy Grace on HLN go on and on.. "I cant help but wonder how many innocent people she screwed.. She withheld evidence in a case and got away with it.."

"My car broke down.. I got fired.. I have three kids.." Ali took a deep breath, "I know I reviewed the woman cases.. She is a snake.."

Alex and Ali looked up at the TV screen as the case played on television..

"She ran away with her student.. " Alexander smiled, "Shame she doesnt have a lawyer.."

Ali shook his head, "Alex.. There is no .. Well I can see a few things.. But S#$%.. "

"Perhaps a winning lawyer would get one hell of a pedigree these lawyer F#$%ers respect.." Alex watched as Video tape of Mrs. Starks arrest played on TV, "Kinda reminds me of a friend of mine.. No hope of winning or surviving.. Surrounded by mother F#$%ers the whole way.. Then poof wins.."

"God D@#$ it Alex.. I know Andros saved me ok," ali took a deep breath.. "I told you years ago that yes I was planning on killing everyone there at the school.. I do not know what happened ok.. It is just that Andros scared the S#$% out of me.. I.. I did not have it as bad as yall had it.."

"You know he has your graduation photo from that little known law school hanging up on his wall.. " Alex smiles warmly, " With your wedding photo to Julie.. Said it reminds him to never give up.. He has done good.."

Ali swallowed hard.. "He.. He said that?"

Alex reached into his pocket and pulled out a cashier's check, "SPAWAR.. Never cut you a check for the guns, ammo, and explosives it took from you in 2013.. It is the present street value plus a little interest.."

Ali took a deep breath, "Thank you.. I.. I know you refuse to lift a finger.. This will give me.."

"I love him.. It is not fair, " Maria Stark's voice comes from the TV.. "I want a lawyer.. I am no saying anything.."

Alex stood up, "Mrs. Stark's bail revocation hearing is in about an hour.. She has no money.. Like your wife she slept with a fifteen year old.. Yall just played it smart.."

Smiling at a memory, "I never expected to.." Ali stops as he looks at Alex, "You want me to represent her.. There is no way in hell this.."

"Woman gets a chance like you.. you would have to be insane to represent her.. Its not like you became a lawyer to make a difference, " Alex put a hundred in the Waitress's hand.. "Thank you for the suds.."

"Alex can I get a ride to thee .."

"Nope.. I am not headed that way," Alex whispers to the Waitress.. "He is a lawyer.. "

The Waitress looked at Ali.. "Really...  Damn shame money is tight.. My husband has to go to the same court house Complex today that that lady is at.. He is about to head there.. They are trying to revoke his CDL.. We cant afford a lawyer.. We got a hearing date but cant get a lawyer"

Ali looked Alex who tipped his head and walked out.. 

"What happened to Justice in America.. "Nancy grace's voice filled the air, "We need to focus on the victims.. Marie Stark is guilty.. they should just throw away the key and be done.."

"Because it is America you F#$%ing C#$%.." Ali looks at the waitress, "Get your husband over here.. Get me a ride to that courthouse and I will take your husband's case for free.. It will be my second case.."

Camera's flash as Ali calls from the back of the court room, "Your. Honor.. Ali Cassius Akbaar .. For the Defense.. I am Mrs. Starks Attorney now.." ali walked past the camera's as they rolled.. He saw a surprised look on Marie's tear stained face, "I have the notification that I am her attorney.." Ali tosses the papers on the Desk in front of the Prosecutor.. Tossing some more papers in front of the now pissed off Prosecutor, "I also have a motion to quash My clients so called confession, the video tape evidence leaked to the press by the DA's office in violation of your gag, and.."

Reading some of the paper work, "Your honor.. This is preposterous.. Mr. Akbaar was just fired from.."

"OBJECTION," Ali shouts.. " The Prosecutor needs to stick solely to facts in evidence.. Which are being motioned to be quashed!"

Ali walks the papers to the judge..

"Objection sustained," the Judge smiles he takes the papers and reads them. "Mr. Akbaar.. This is a bail revocation.." The Judge takes a deep breath and sits back, "How does the state of Alabama respond?"

"Your honor," the Prosecutor glares at Akbaar.. "This is highly .."

"Legal.. My client is clearly recorded requesting not once but twice an attorney during her illegal detention. "Ali Sticks his hand out to Marie who swallows hard and shakes it, "The State of Alabama proceeded to question MY client without myself or her previous council present?"

Hope flashes across Mrs. Stark's eyes as she nods yes..

"If Mrs. Stark decided to speak with our esteemed.."

"OBJECTION your honor.. This is clearly an attempt by the prosecution to use social manipulation to.."

"Overruled," The judge chuckles at Ali..

"Thank you your honor.. Mrs. Clark while she did.." The prosecutor paused, "Request an attorney.. It is a well established precedent that...."

For the next ten minutes the nation watches as Ali and the prosecutor exchange legal blows over the case in front of them..

"Your honor.. Mrs. Stark is very Pregnant with her victims child.. We did the DNA test.."

"Wait.. there has been a DNA test done.. Did you notify the previous Attorney of this or are you going to say you collected the evidence per procedure during an illegal detention!" Ali yelled right back at the prosecutor, " You endangered a child's life so you could win this.."

"Enough Mr. Akbaar, " the Judge bangs his gavel.. 

"With all due respect your honor.. If my client is not released on her own recognizance we will add this to the civil suit we are filing against the state of Alabama," Ali sat down next to his client.. "Your honor the honored Prosecutor did not pass go again.. The request to keep My client away from a person was not properly filed. No restraining order or restraining order hearing was filed or submitted.. To my basic understanding my client was again robbed of her right to due process by this S#$%bag pretending his Harvard degree means S#$%.."

The judge chuckles not meaning to as Another five minutes of heated exchanges take place

The Judge looks at Ali with some respect as he bangs his gavel loudly.. "Mr. Akbaar.. You have put me in an interesting position legally.." The Judge takes a deep breath as he looks at Mrs. Stark, "Mrs. Stark.. Unless the state of Alabama can prove you are a threat of physical harm to  anyone.. I am forced to temporarily grant you release.."

Mrs. Stark Hugs Ali as tears fall..

"Your.. I request from the court AGAIN.. That Mrs. Stark.."

"If the prosecutor wants a restraining order that is a different hearing.. " Ali glares at the Prosecutor, "and my client has rights in this regard.. " In Front of the Camera's Ali stands and looks at the prosecutor, "If you EVER mention my wife in this courtroom again me and you gonna have words at dawn.."

The Prosecutor takes a deep breath, "Your honor.."

"My wife is fifteen years my Junior," The Judge picks back up his gavel. "This is the south and you did threaten his wife.." Banging the gavel, "I expect the papers for a restraining order on my desk by the end of business. " Standing up, "I am taking a break before my next case.. It is a simple Review of a drivers CDL issue.."

Ali hugs his client again, "Actually your honor.. In the Case of the State of Alabama versus Joseph Cartwright.. Ali Cassius Akbaar for the defense.."

The Prosecutor looks as the trucker steps up to the box, "Mr. akbaar.." Hope filled the trucker's eyes, "That.. that was amazing.."

The judge shakes his head.. "Make it an hour recess.."

"Mrs. Stark.." Ali takes a deep breath, "Your gonna have to come to my house for dinner.. Mr. cartwright.. We will both need a ride to my house after I secure your CDL.."

The Prosecutor is very pissed off, "This is retaliation for my son getting your spot.."

"Your son DID not earn it.. You sucked the partners dick.." Ali glared at the prosecutor, "I am asking the judge to have you recuse yourself from any case I am defending.."

"I am going to take Mr. Cartwright's CDL as a trophy.. You think your little local college degree is gonna save you.." The Prosecutor growls, "We are gonna play hardball.."

Ali smiles, "I told you it was an easy day.." Ali points to the camera's, "The caught the exchange.. Mr. Cartwright is offering nothing and you let it go.."

The Prosecutor storms off cussing..

"I.. I," Mrs. Stark is shaking as she sits down..

"Do not talk to anyone.. this was just the first round.." Ali swallows hard, "He is gonna come for us hard.."
