Not sure about the folks who built their homes right on the cliff. Only a matter of time. It's like the people who build their home less than one foot above the water line and wonder what when wrong when it floods.
Time, wind, and water are not a friend to any land anywhere. The Grand Canyon is a standing memorial to the their power. You are surely pushing your luck when you live on the edge.
Some of these issues have been a long time in the making.
I am not buying the climate change excuse. Mother Nature can be a b-i-t-c-h, when she gets pissed off. Or maybe she just wants to shake or wash off us parasites.
Don't leave out Miami.
