What's the difference between trust and faith?

I'm not distinguishing. I regard "trust" as the real meaning of "faith".
John's gospel talks of believing "that" (i.e. accepting that a statement is true) and also of believing "in" (i.e trusting a person). My case is that believing "in" is what really matters, even though the church has historically focussed on believing "that" because it is easier to teach and monitor.

I see faith as a spiritual element and trust more the confidence of something/someone.  As per internet definitions that I've looked up.

There's definitely a difference.

The Biblical God is a "someone". That is the point....

Or a group of beings.. The Gods that came from the heavens. A narrative shared across the globe..

:-)
