Hi Everybody!

I have been here for almost a week now and finally got the courage to make a thread to share a bit about myself. :)

My name is Carly and I moved from the US to the West Midlands UK 12 years ago when I married my hubby. I love the paranormal. I have had so many experiences thru out my life and to me there is no doubt that there is some kind of life after death. I also find UFO phenomena very interesting. I love history as well. Oh and 80's movies!!! The 80's were the best for music and movies!   I also love travelling.

When I am not at work, I love taking my dog (that's my baby in my profile pic) for walks and spending time with my family and friends and going to the theatre.

I am a bit shy so I usually lurk more than I post.

I too was an ATS refugee.

West Midlands.
I worked near there for about a year, in Hednesford.
I was amazed at the number of mullets.....like going back to the 70's, or being in Australia.

Seen a few bands in Birmingham over the years.

I remember you from ATS! I used to agree with a lot of your posts as several times, I thought you were a rational voice in a delusional thread. 

I'm not sure where Hednesford is, but don't diss the mullet.... they use to be cool once....right???

Hednesford is near Cannock.

I got sick of commuting from the North East.
Originally I'd planned to move there.....but after spending some time there I realised it wasn't really the place for me.
Nice enough people but......

Spent quite a bit of time in and around Leicester.
A few stories to tell.

Ok, I'll keep your rationalism secret safe.  

Ah, I know where Cannock is. We take our pup to Cannock Chase sometimes.

Cannock Chase is nice.
But to be honest amongst other things I got a bit bored in Hednesford.
It really was like going back in time.
My family were at home.
I have mates in Leicester and Hinkley but it was a bit of a chew on to get there on a night after work etc.....and I had to try to keep myself 'right' for graft the next day. 

I'm sure I'll get round to telling a few of my stories over time.....I know things are a bit more relaxed here but I'm still a bit wary about going into the details of some of them!
