Not Knowing When You Should Let Go

Ran up on this on my way to the garden. 

It must be in the water.

Now I know why I am always trying to take on more than I can chew.  

Take it as a good omen! Hopefully it means Spring is here to stay without Old Man Winter storming back in every weekend!
But please don't take up chewing frogs!  

Yep! Spring is in the air.

I ran into a small black snake on Friday evening, next to my Ponderosa lemon tree, which is going to have an abundance of fruit this year. Then ran into a little bigger one Saturday morning, just lying still in my front yard, trying to figure a way around Tamar, the feisty, nonsocial Husky.

This one is just a small blue garter snake. He really is pretty, when he is not trying to stuff himself.
