My wife's mom stayed with us for years during declining health until she passed away. In the end she was with her family. She was afforded peace and dignity of going on in her own home, her own room, her own bed. Back in the day that's just the way it was. Having experienced the whole thing myself, I have difficulty understanding why some people are opposed to it.
Maybe because of lockdown family members were not allowed... I do not know just speculating as there have been stories to that effect ?
Yes. The article states that family members attempting to visit were yelled at by staff and kicked out because, covid.
