It would surprise many people to know that many of the sexual assault cases I receive, have no involvement of penile penetration. It is hard for many to understand that sexual assault rarely has anything to do with sex.

I think a lot of folks make the false equivalent that rape equates to a sexual act when it's actually about violence, power and when perpetrated upon women, misogyny.
