Part of my job is keeping my emotions in check. Letting emotions get in the way can do a lot of harm.
Lack of evidence does not mean there was no crime. Just as the presence of evidence does not confirm a crime was committed.
Allowing emotions to get in the way of processing the evidence can create a situation where a guilty person goes free or an innocent man is incarcerated. It undermines the process and allows for undesirable results.
For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.
