My sister is a medical professional, and according to her masks are worse than useless - they are deleterious. Something about how they create an "incubatory environment" for the virus, which virtually none will stop from entering. I'm told you have to have a facially sealing HEPA filter type of mask to keep it out - or IN, as the case may be, and that if your eyes are exposed, there is no point attempting to cover your mouth and nose. I'm NOT a medical professional, so I won't even try the explain it.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
