I'm having a Lot of problems looking at any material like this directly on YouTube (hence the delay in editing this post). I can see the video through the RN interface, but get an error message on his YT channel. Isn't that weird?
Big fella here ends his monolog with, "Don't wait. Don't wait." after pretty calmly laying out his observations before that conclusion. The video is definitely worth listening to (you won't get any extra out of watching it).
We've got to reach points along the way. One of those points will be "The Point of No Return". Sounds all dramatic, but I think that's when the drama will start to ramp-up. That day when you know there's no going back. When you've slipped just far enough and fast enough.
I do appreciate the way he makes his observations of government asserting more direct control over us as individuals. This one video should be well digested before moving on to decisions.
I feel pretty fortunate to be living in fly-over country to begin with. Had planned to bug-in for years. Probably have to bug-out for a while if things start looking sketchy. I've moved stuff the wife and I would need to the start of 'the trail' and several cache sites along the way. Out of pocket cost for that was less than $500. Pretty sure we'd be able to survive the winter (if not far longer) than that.
I really hope that this guy is wrong, but he is echoing what many of us have been thinking for a while now. I honestly believe that no matter who wins the presidential election in the US this November that we are in for serious trouble with a full blown civil war being an actual real possibility- which is something I never thought I'd live long enough to witness.
We have been prepping since before Covid-19 even made its landfall in the US. We are among those unfortunate enough to be stuck in the city at this time but are prepared to either shelter in place or bug out at any moment- even if we have to fight our way out. Apparently others are preparing for the same as firearms and ammo are becoming extremely scarce here. Yesterday I went on another ammo run, most places are almost completely sold out of guns and ammunition except for very small caliber. I have found only one place in the city where I can still get the sizes and types of ammo we need and they are very expensive. While there yesterday I was amazed at the number of first time customers. You can't even get AKs, shotguns or 9mms anymore here, not even on order. Most there were parents looking for protection for their families; it may be too late for them.
If anyone hasn't started prepping for a worst case scenario I encourage you to start immediately! Get what you can while you still can! Even if you don't have much money due to the current economy beans and rice are very inexpensive and you can start filling whatever containers you have available to you with clean water. Seed packets are extremely cheap and you can grow vegetables pretty much anywhere with dirt- our tiny patio is completely filled with them growing in containers. Any firearm is better than NO firearm, not just for protection but for hunting as well. Fishing gear is great to have, if you can't afford a rod and reel fishing line, hooks and bobbers will suffice. if you can't afford something to filter water grab a bottle of bleach- 1/8 tsp in a gallon of water left to sit overnight will kill anything bad and is safe to drink. You can get a flint fire starter at the Dollar Tree for a buck. Just accumulate what you can because ANY preps are better than NO preps.
