The recoil would be a little much for you in an emergency.
The sound would scare most people way.
Put he thinks you should try a 380. or 9mm.
Easier to hold in your hand.
I use the 380. because ,,, well,, I'm Chinese and small.
I really like my new 22.
Here is a handgun that is great, the KEL TEC 22. semi auto for $170., it is a nice American made handgun that comes with the Silencer barrel adapter, I just bought one and my husband bought me the Red Jacket Silencer for it. $125.00 online. Using 45 grain hollow points, two rounds would stop them from wanting to come any closer.
Sorry I'm rambling on and on.
Depends on the handgun, actually.
I am 5'3" tall, 125 lbs.
My normal carry is a Glock 21 in a 45 ACP.
My purse gun is a little Ruger Ultralight in a 9mm (and it's cranberry!!).
The 9mm has more kick then my Glock and is harder to get back to center... because it is too light.
My Glock delivers 13 rounds of 185 gr FTX happiness on demand in the middle always.
The Ruger 9mm not so much.
WOW! I'm 5'2" and 118 lbs.
Very thin wrist.
Sounds like You Like Your Glock and know your weapons.
I'm proud of you.
I'm really getting to Love the new 22. for my purse gun.
My 380. (passion blue) is still my hip carry.
My husband loves his old Colt 1911 45. and his Beretta 9mm.
I'm So Happy To Have Met another Gun Loving Female! {{{{HUGS}}}}
You should meet my wife , she buys all the guns and ammo since I am not allowed to do because of the ex and false accusations.
