When Animals Attack
#3
Just a couple examples of that hillbilly common sense:

If you want to minimize and marginalize someone or their ideas, you don't draw national attention and sympathy to them.

You don't promote "tolerance" by displaying extreme intolerance on the national stage.

You don't demonstrate "diversity" by marching in lockstep and shouting down the ideas of your opponents with cries of non-sequiturs like "racist!" when you can't formulate a coherent argument against them.

Just a few thoughts...

One more thing - If they think they want a civil war, they should probably rethink that. It's hard to fight on an empty stomach when the folks out in the hinterlands that you are attacking, and who raise your food, decide to stop feeding you and instead start shooting back...

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
