Finally, it really is a year since most everyone’s lives in Thailand was touched by the outpouring of grief and respect that many experienced last October with the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
I watched from afar this King for the last 47 years and of all the Kings of this world he was one of the few I actually respected.
He will be cremated on the 26th of October as the country basically shuts down to pay respect.
In many ways he will be missed by the country due to the efforts he made on the Thai citizens behalf.
