My husband has a friend that attended Burning Man from the very early days.
He hasn't gone in the last 3 years, he told Mr. G. it was taken over by the Rich and the Elite's kids.

It use to be Tents and old converted buses and cars to sleep in and people never carried money, now they have RV's and Sell Water and Food and their own airport.
The people were just artist and out of work actors and common people that wanted to play Apocalypse for a week.
That has all changed.
Most of the original people don't go anymore.
