Drama in the Bedroom
"Give it to me," she said
"I've already made my choice!"
She angrily rose from the bed,
Fury creeping into her voice.
She lunged in a fit of despair,
Catching her man by surprise.
But her fingers clawed thin air,
And desperation came to her eyes.
"I know what you're up to, I see
What mischief you aim to do,"
He said while trying to be
Strong and brave enough for the two.
A smile came to her lips,
Her cunning was that of a fox,
And he knew he would soon surrender
The last chocolate-covered cherry in the box.
