It's about time we got some "feel good" stories from the media.
Congratulations to this man on getting his diploma.
You know, people back then had to live through hard times. Not too many people could go all the way through high school, especially if their parents depended on the children to help on the farm or take care of family matters.
Getting a high school diploma is as big a deal to them as someone earning a college degree today. I'm very happy he got it.
