Waiting for someone to come to my house to fix my water system. I am pretty sure the water pump died. The filtration system panel still looks to be functioning, but no water, and the pump is not turning on. So now I just have to pray that it will not cost me my first born to pay for it.

Waiting for someone to come to my house to fix my water system. I am pretty sure the water pump died. The filtration system panel still looks to be functioning, but no water, and the pump is not turning on. So now I just have to pray that it will not cost me my first born to pay for it.

It’s already paid for itself, because my washing machine went kaput, and my bathtub faucet broke at the same time. Both were fixed for a $75 deductible. I pay about $70/month, and it gives me peace of mind. It covers pretty much everything in my house, including my heating system and my hot water heater, which is almost 30 years old. That would cost me an arm and a leg to replace.

Yeah, thanks for asking. The ceremony itself was outside. Did I mention it was around 0C, and there were snow flurries, with a lot of wind? Froze my ass off, but it was a beautiful ceremony. The drinking and dinner reception were indoors in a park shelter. No central heat, so there was a big fireplace they got going. Then they had to open the doors because it got real sooty. So we left our coats on, drank, ate and had fun even though we were all kinda cold. My three nieces and one nephew are all married off now, and they all got married in the damn cold Wisconsin fall and winter. My marriage was in July because I mentioned at the time that I didn’t want to deal with fucking snow and cold.
