Dr. Robert Sarbacher, his work the (Encyclopedia Dictionary of Electronics and Engineering) is "considered to be fundamental to the scientific world."
Yet there's hardly any mention of him on the internet.

In 1983, two researchers, Stanton Friedman and William Steinman, interviewed Sarbacher. Steinman even received a typewriter letter from him. He confirmed to them that there have been crash retrievals of UFOs. He indicated that in the early 50s he was officially made aware of a crash of a non-terrestrial craft in the south-west. He wrote: “. . . about the only thing I remember at this time is that certain materials reported to have come from flying saucer crashes were extremely light and very tough. I am sure our laboratories analyzed them very carefully. There were reports that instruments or people operating these machines were also very light weight.... I remember in talking with some of the people at the office that I got the impression these aliens were constructed like certain insects.”

Sarbacher named famous people who were involved in the secret UFO project such as Dr. Robert Oppenheimer, Dr. Vannevar Bush, and Dr. John von Neumann. He confirmed that high-level discussions involving UFOs and their recoveries had indeed been held. Unfortunately, he wrote, although he had been “invited to participate in several discussions associated with the reported recoveries,” he had not personally attended the meetings. At least one of these discussions appeared to have taken place at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, in Dayton Ohio. There, officials were to report on their findings to scientists connected with the Defense Department’s Research and Development Board. In a phone conversation with Stanton Friedman, Sarbacher identified another scientist who attended the meetings. This was Dr. Eric A. Walker.

In 1983, the scientist was asked a question by UFO researcher Bill Steinman as to what he knew about the 1948 UFO crash in New Mexico. Sarbacher’s answer shocked him somewhat.

“Regarding the verification of the involvement of the individuals you listed, I can only say the following: John von Neumann [Dr. Strangelove] was definitely involved. Dr. Vannevar Bush was definitely involved, and I think that Dr. Robert Oppenheimer was also involved in the alien technology program.

The more attention we pay to this vague and elusive figure of Townsend Brown, the less we’re likely to pay heed to this other vague and elusive guy, this Sarbacher. And Sarbacher, like our ‘reliable source’ implies, just might be one the keys that unlocks the whole puzzle.

The name of Robert Sarbacher is familiar to researchers investigating UFO and extraterrestrial contact conspiracy theories. His reputation in those circles derives from a limited number of published references, beginning with the notes of a conversation that Sarbacher had with Canadian scientist Wilbert Smith in 1950. It was Sarbacher who allegedly told Smith that “…flying saucers exist” and that they were “the most highly classified secret" in the United States at the time, classified “two levels higher than the H-bomb.” On that exchange is built the entire legend of Robert Sarbacher — such as it is.

That video was okay, I've heard all that before and read all the stories.  At the end of the video there was a web address to go to for support for people going through this kind of thing.  I checked it out because I really need to talk to someone who can help me find out what happened to me around 55 years ago.  But I don't know if the lady that link took me to is going to be able to help me.  She's in BC and though she does online appointments she only does in person consultations and I'm not paying almost $300 without a consultation first.
