Alrighty then!

I am the new narrirator for this little match.

@"DuckforcoveR" you're player 1.

@"Sol" you're player 2.

The rules?

See here.

Rules of Engagement

Now my claims.

I decided to make this round. . . ."Celebrity London Edition"!

tinybiggrin

Claim 1.  Fred Astaire, of Hollywood fame, stayed at our home in London for a while, he was our houseguest.

Claim 2.  I enjoyed associating/hanging with the cast and crew of "Star Wars" when they did their filming at Pinewood Studios.

Claim 3.  I was sitting at a table, at a nightclub in London, with several people when one of them, Jodie Foster, took off her bra in front of everyone without taking off her top.

And so it begins. . . . . .  tinyangry

@"beez"

This is pretty easy knowing your old ass.  tinylaughing I wouldn't even need to ask a question. I don't want to give it away though so I'll keep quiet.

Of course, I could be completely wrong.  tinyshocked

Fun questions.
I'm most curious about Fred Astaire. He always struck me as a really nice guy.

He was a very nice guy.  Quiet, modest.  Never "put on airs".

The most memorable was Carrie Fisher.  Other cast and crew, can't honestly remember their names.  At the time?  They were just some folks making some sci-fi movie.

Every Sunday at Hyde Park, there was an American softball league.  My father was on one team, the cast/crew of Star Wars was another.  Carrie Fisher never played, but she went to all the games and hung out with us.  Afterwards we'd all go out and eat somewhere.  It was just a fun way to spend a Sunday and I remember Carrie Fisher because I was a young teenaged boy and thought she was smoking HOT!

How long did Fred stay at your house for?

Just shy of a week.  He was actually hiding from the media.  It was fun in a way.  He'd recently remarried to someone much younger and the media was hounding him.  He was really nice.

Our flat was previously owned by his daughter Ava who was friends with my parents.  They met on a flight to London earlier on.  Our family was looking for a place, they were looking to move.

Why did she choose to do that, on a moment's notice?

It was more of a dare than anything else.  The claim was that women could take their bras off without removing their tops.  Someone (can't remember who) said, "Prove it!"

She did.
