Good morning Rogue Nation!

Had an early evening.  I'm actually in Portland to work with some leadership at one of the hospitals here about Covid stuff. Small disclosure. . . . I'm actually a regional director for Clinical Engineering for a pretty big company.  Part of my duties are to make sure things like vents and anesthesia machines are and stay in compliance for state, federal regulations.

So I went to bed early, have to start with a morning meeting @0730.

Basically boring stuff.

What I'm studying up on is production of nicotine from grown tobacco.

Be careful... nicotine is a deadly poison. Rememer the stories of the African pygmies with poison-tipped arrows? That was nicotine. In extremely low doses it replaces acetylcholine as a neurotransmitter and relaxes the nervous system while also constricting capillaries, causing the heart to pump harder and giving a short spike in blood pressure. In higher doses, it shuts down the nervous system and closes off blood flow entirely.

Of course, that means if I am ever shot by African pygmies with poison arrows, I'll just get a mild nicotine rush.

Smart lady.  The great thing about growing weed is you don't have to try.  The shit comes up everywhere where I am.  Try growing edible stuff and non usable weeds take over.

Sigh, and now they are banning vaping in Australia.  You can still smoke tobacco and weed at home but don't vape!

So now I'm going to grow my own tobacco and weed and puff away.  Will miss my bourbon vapes.

My disguise has worked so far.

But I looted a Greek deli for lunch today and had a nice gyro.
