Halloween Party October 28th to November 1st 2022 - Sol - 10-28-2022

Hello Party Monsters,

The Halloween Party 2022 will be held as of October 28th 2022. For four straight days, the Rogue's bar, right here, will be open for music videos, funny videos, scary videos, GIFs, memes and discussions among friends.

However, it will be held under this Dark theme, as the Volare theme isn't ready for lift off yet. We could have brought it in, but it's still missing quite a bit of stuff to fully enjoy, so we rather wait a little longer before we bring it from under the curtain.

We had prepared over four dozen avatars for the occasion but Dark here prevents us from loading them. Unless you use an outside free image hosting site, in which case then, you could upload the direct link into your avatar UserCP. I will still leave a reply, under this OP, with all available avatars. The GIF ones are amazing but the size of them in MB makes them impossible to load.

We will still be occasionally changing the banners though, for the occasion.

It's a disappointment for sure. For that, I am truly sorry. I truly am.

But let's try and have fun anyway, that's what parties are for!!

From tomorrow night, I'll be showing up, in an out, throughout the weekend, as I hope, some of you will as well!!

Sigh….First I had to cancel the Ghost Story walk I was so excited to go on and now it seems like I won’t be able to change into a spooky avatar.

Anyone wanna save my Halloween with a free image hosting site I can use? Lol

Explanation: I am wearing the Halloween Avatar created by BAID for me now.

Personal Disclosure: I happened to save it to my tower PC and I uploaded it to Discord in a test room in a discord server that I am associated with for many years now.

If shoutbox is not coming back then should/shall I look into creating a discord server room for us all to use?

It would make sharing pictures on RN3 much easier and simpler eh?

If you have discord account then I really must get your opinion on that.

For anyone wishing to change their avatars to one of those Halloween ones, here is a tutorial on how you can do it. (Some of the GIF ones are too massive in Megabytes to upload but any other ones are fine.)

It's how I do it. And if I can do it, you can do it.

If you're choosing one of the avatars already listed here...
Just RIGHT CLICK on the Halloween avatar that you like.
Choose "copy image link". (That will copy the image URL into your clipboard)
Then go to your UserCP, click on Change Avatar,
and (right-click) PASTE the image URL (from your clipboard) into the Avatar URL box,
then click the CHANGE AVATAR button at the bottom!

Thanks Gordi. Your way works. 

I tried it earlier but I don’t know what I did because it wasn’t working. Then I thought I’d try one more time before I tried the way Sol mentioned. 

It’s good that there’s a couple of different options to switch them out and both are very much appreciated.
