Using the Categories on the left - Sol - 10-17-2022

Navigating the theme, desktop/laptop version. Mobile is a bit different.

This is just a quick summary of how I personally navigate the site, through the Categories on the left.

The first thing I see is that there are gray discussion bubbles and blue discussion bubbles before the sub-boards.

Gray bubbles means no new posts.

A Blue bubble means that there is a new post in that sub-board.

As an example, I took a screenshot right now and this is what I see:

See, there is a blue bubble for the Dark Vault and another for the Rogues Promo spot. Right off the bat, it means there are new replies in both those categories.

Now, if I click on the Dark Vault, as an example, this is what I get:

It's telling me, by the blue bubble, that the new post is in The Rogue-Nation Graphics Lab.

Finally, if I click on The Rogue-Nation Graphics Lab, this is what I get:

Now there are three things to notice here.

1 - The bubble is filled with blue. Means the new post is in this thread.

That is a feature that you will also find useful when you click on the dropdown menu called Posts on top of the theme.

Whether you click View New Posts or View Today's Posts, if you see a blue filled bubble, it means that there is a new reply in that thread.

2 - Highlighted in blue, under the thread name, there is a blue bubble with NEW written inside of it. Clicking on it will bring you to the last reply you've seen.

3 - All the info I need is under the thread title: Who created it, when and who posted the last reply.

This is how I navigate this theme at this moment. I check the bubbles in the Categories, I look for bubbles in View New Posts and View Today's posts.

I click the NEW bubble anytime I want to get to the last reply that I've seen.

Not that complicated afterall, once you know it.

This is the desktop/laptop version. It's different for mobiles but not that much. Blue bubbles are where the new stuff is... :)

Try it. Simple. Easy.

Sol.

Thanks @Sol

Looking forward to playing around on the CPU versus my phone. Once jury duty is done!

The basic RoundoDarko theme is working well on my old PC.

AND I am starting to get used to navigating my way around.... It seems to work pretty good. The links work as they should, pages load fast etc.

These little hints'n'tips are invaluable by the way!

Should be a disclaimer for sausage fingers on mobile. Viva La Badger Force, fuck it.
Thanks for your hard work.

LOL

Or you need a bigger phone lol

There are little differences between the desktop version and the mobile version but the bubbles remain the same. Try zooming on stuff perhaps? Like zooming in to see the (NEW) bubble before clicking on it? That's what I do...
