"Sasha has always been actively fighting for black people and the injustices that surround
the black community, as well as being both a member of BLM and a member of Taking the
Initiative Party’s Executive Leadership Committee.
"Sasha is also a mother of 3 and a strong, powerful voice for our people and our community.
"Let’s all come together and pray for Sasha, pray for her recovery and show our support to
her family and loved ones."
Ms Johnson - who previously styled herself as the 'Black Panther of Oxford' - has been
outspoken on racial issues. A hashtag - #prayforsashajohnson - is being circulated online.
The Metropolitan Police said it could not comment on identities but was "aware" of the social
media posts. The force released a witness appeal earlier on Sunday after a shooting in the
Southwark area of London at roughly 3am.
Officers raced to the scene on Consort Road following reports of gunfire.
The victim, thought to be Ms Johnson, was taken to hospital where she remains with "life-threatening
injuries". No arrests have been made.
DCI Jimi Tele said: "We are all hoping that this young woman’s condition improves. "Our investigation
is in its early stages and urgent enquiries are under way to establish the circumstances...'

"As far as I am aware... this incident is more related to rival gangs as opposed to her activism," Ms Ayton said.

I submit that their "movement" may bear some of the responsibility for this, if it was directed at Ms. Johnson intentionally. Using words like "warriors" to describe mere political hacks creates a martial air, and "warriors" are meant to, you know, go to war. Shoot folks and get shot at (or hacked with swords and axes, or poked hard with spears, etc - but all acts of violence). War is a violent activity, and "warriors" by definition are violent people, meant to visit violence on others, and receive violence to themselves.
By referring to these sign-carrying piss ants as "warriors", it is not only a rank insult to actual warriors, it invites them to receive a warrior's pay, in steel and lead.
Why would people NOT attack "their warriors"? It's a sure bet that if their "warriors" are "warriors", they will attack the folks attacking them, by definition. An attack of this nature would be in the vein of a preemptive strike to protect The People. Stop abusing the language by mislabeling your piss ants, and they might not be as prone to catch lead nuggets.

- I hope she pulls through for her three kids. Don't wish anyone losing family members.
- Why was she at a party/gathering with rival gangs shooting each other? Not exactly a healthy scene.
- Instead of fighting the patriarchy, white supremacy, and all that nonsense, maybe she should fight for urban youths to stop killing each other. Never hearing a peep from BLM on the weekly death toll in Chicago makes me ill.

Exactly. A warrior knows he or she will not live forever, and any event, any event at all, may be his last. It's part of the deal when one takes up arms - other folks, on the other side, are going to be taking up arms, too. Whether you kill them or they kill you is often just the luck of the draw.
As I recently told my own son - and I do hope he passes it down - any fight you go into is a fight for your life, so consider carefully if that fight is really worth it. Go in expecting to not come out of it alive. The best you can hope for is to take as many of your opponents with you as possible when you die. If by some miracle you do manage to survive it, there is always the next fight. No one lives forever, and only fools expect to, especially if they are warriors going into harms way on purpose and on the regular.

As you can see from this quote of a Sun newspaper piece, they speak in dramatic language that belongs on a theatre stage.

"Socialist Organising in a New Era" Pretty much says it all for the "Momentum movement", now doesn't it? At least they are kind enough to lay all their cards right out on the table for us! It never fails to amaze me that every single Socialist "movement" has to manufacture a "struggle" to survive and thrive. Without their "struggle of the proletariat", they are just dead in the water, so they have to create one in order to survive. The amazing part, to me, is that so few see that manufactured struggle, and that so many fall into that trap like lemmings marching off a cliff. 'Speaks from her ancestors' -a classic line that hints of a person that is forced to endure the culture of a country
foreign to his/hers original way of life. But these activists -if they're so outraged by the system they're in, can go
back to their assumed 'original' country and enjoy the trappings of the home of their forbears.
I would suggest the DVD collection of television series 'Roots' has been watched too much!
