This is an OFFICIAL SHORT STORY CONTEST thread.
GHOULIES, GHOSTIES and GOBLINS [GGG2020]
YES fellow Rogues.... it is THAT time of the Year again!
Your Mission, should you choose to accept it... is to write a NEW and ORIGINAL Short Story which contains or relates to the theme "Ghoulies, Ghosties and Goblins"... anything CREEPY really!
HOW you do that is of course, up to YOU!
RULES:
There is no word count but PLEASE bear in mind that this is a SHORT STORY Contest.
You should write your own, brand new, original short story and place it in a New Thread within this (Rogue's Writers Contests) forum HERE
It can be serious, funny, scary, rhyming, crazy, dull... ANY style that you choose... but CREEPY is a must!
Please include [GGG2020] in the title, so that we know it is an official entry.
(e.g. "The Goblins Ghost [GGG2020]")
You may include (copyright/royalty free) images, short video clips, sound or music etc if it relates to, or enhances your story, but this is by-no-means compulsory.
The contest will run from Now until Thurs 5th November.
The Judging will be done in secret, by our very own Super-Secret judging panel and behind closed doors... to deliberately induce feelings of paranoia and delusions of persecution in the minds of the entrants!!!
The Judges decision is final.
PRIZE:
The Winner of our Contest will inherit the Honorary Title of "CreepyBard" until such times as a young upstart CreepyBard seizes your Title in a future Creepy Contest!
Any questions, queries, bribes etc.... just place them under my desk in the break-room, in a plain brown envelope, (**available from @BIAD 's garden shed supplies store).

The judges are deliberating -which in mainstream media-speak, means I'm waiting on Gordi for
his final decision!

Due to many of the paid-off Administrators special writing judges suffering with
election burn-out, Boy In A Dress and the person who actually owns the shed
he lives in, committed ourselves to examine the 'GHOULIES, GHOSTIES and
GOBLINS' Writing Contest as a pair of a fair-minded decision-makers.
It was difficult, the yarns were very good and BIAD found that arriving at a winner
was really a side-issue as all the participants should receive an award.
So in his own weird fashion... he chose the one he liked due to its snappiness and
then allowed his guilt to set-in.
Congratulations F2d5thCav for your 'What's the Frequency?' story and well done
to all who took part.
Now... grab yer' trophy from below and get the hell out of here, I've got Werewolves
coming up from London.
