Operation Legend - Mystic Wanderer - 07-23-2020 Here come the crazy celebs, thinking we actually give a damn what they have to say. They are so far removed from the real world, they are the last people we should be giving any attention. I always liked The Voice, but since he's become a judge, it's hard to sit and watch anymore. I had a hard time with Blake's new girlfriend too. She was shown attending a spirit cooking party. Blake has to know this, so that makes him compliant. Is there no one in Hollyweird that isn't involved in evil? Anyway, back on topic... Quote:Pop superstar and The Voice host John Legend accused President Donald Trump of “waging war” on America’s neighborhoods after the president announced plans to increase the presence of police in crime-ridden cities across the country. Quote:“Welp, I looked it up. In the middle of a once in a century pandemic where the US has far more deaths than any other country and unemployment is sky-high, POTUS decides the states are just fine dealing with the pandemic, but need the feds policing black neighborhoods,” John Legend wrote in response to the news. Quote:"Operation Legend is not to harass, it’s not to harm or to hurt. It is to help investigate unsolved murders, in which one of those happens to be our innocent four-year-old son,” she said at the meeting. “This operation is personal to us. We want justice for our son and others.” Does he really believe that? These people are sick in the head! Quote:John Legend, who is a long-time left-wing activist, also railed against what he called over-policing. Last month, The “All of Me” singer argued that there should be “significantly fewer police” in the United States. Source Too much on policing? Easy for you to say, as you walk around with your paid security! You and all those other stuck up snobs in Hollyweird can kiss this! RE: Operation Legend - Nomnomine - 07-23-2020 I don't know who John Legend is and I've never seen The Voice. But I can say that just because you're famous doesn't mean you even graduated high school. Ricky Gervais was right in trying to shut these people up when it comes to politics. RE: Operation Legend - Schmoe1 - 07-24-2020 Welp, that's one more shitstain added to my list of "people's opinions I could not possibly care less about." John Legend is so righteous and has all the answers apparently, but I'm sure he's in no rush to move into these areas. He didn't even offer an alternative solution did he? Typical celebrity know-it-all, disconnected from reality. De Niro found performing as a way to relieve his shyness, and became fascinated by cinema, so he dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue acting. Incredible voice, but yeah, couldn't care less about his "views." The only reason I know about him is because of the radio, not for any world-changing accomplishments of his...
