Linda Marie Ronstadt was born in 1946 in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up on a ranch. Her family was very musical, holding sing-alongs in the living room. She dropped out of college to move to Los Angeles and pursue her singing career- becoming a top artist of the 1970s and became the highest-paid woman in rock.
