I had a great uncle that was a cowboy, an actual one, as opposed to movie "cowboys", he was my dad's uncle, my grandpa's brother, and I remember him. Grandpa was born in 1903, and Dow was his older brother, so, born around 1900, or a little before. He ran away when he was 14 or so, and went out west to Montana to be a cowboy. Those boys had a rough life, due to an Evil Stepmother, so Dow bailed. He met his wife while out there.
Dow was a hell of a shot. I've seen him shoot dimes out of the air from a holstered pistol when they were flipped into the air. He gave me the best advice for pistol shooting I've ever had - "Don't aim.That's wasting time. Just point that pistol like it was a finger, an extension of your own body. Sights are for suckers".
In his later years, he was like I am now - a wrinkled up has been with nothing but stories to tell. But he could still plink those dimes, He and his wife are long gone now, but man, they were something in their day.

Don't try to make sense of the language. You don't speak it. That language has not been spoken on Earth for near 2000 years. It's the story of a gal that gets taken in by a roguish fella, and then drowns herself in shame.
When your end is nigh, you fight. You fight like you've got a demon. You're going to die anyhow, and have nothing left to lose by it. You take no prisoners - you're not going to live long enough to put a tag on them anyhow - you're going home. Your one goal in that moment, the one thing you have left to do, is take as many of the bastards with you as you can, so you can beat their asses in Valhalla on a daily basis for the rest of eternity. Because they're the pricks that did you in. You're going to enjoy it, forever. Trust me on that.
