Nope, the program has merely expired in it's legal date and efforts to re-jig it are ongoing.
The actual amount of potential children effected by the CHIP expiration -according to Business

Our President is doing such a bad job, right? (Sarcasm) The MSM keeps saying how he is going to be the downfall of our country with his "bad" policies, and how the U.S. will be seen as an embarrassment around the world.
AND THEN ALONG COMES TRUMP... making THEM look like a total embarrassment.

President Trump warm them if they did not cooperate with his Federal Agents, that he would with hold Federal Funds and only Distribute to Citied that Cooperated.
A Federal Judge I remember from a Lower Court,,, the Obama Appointed Low Life Judge Ruled that President Trump Could Do That.
Guess What,,,, He's is the President and Those are His Monies to Distribute as HE Sees Fit.

Byrne Justice Assistance Grants are used by localities and police departments across the nation to pay for equipment, training, personnel or other pressing needs.
The Trump administration last year said it would condition the money on localities’ willingness to cooperate in holding illegal immigrants for pickup by federal deportation officers. Chicago sued, saying the conditions weren’t part of federal law.
A federal district judge had ruled for Chicago, but issued a nationwide injunction saying the conditions couldn’t be applied to any Byrne grants.
The Justice Department put nearly $200 million in 2017 money on hold as the case proceeded.
But on Tuesday an appeals court narrowed the ruling, saying that while the district court could decide the fate of Chicago’s practices, it couldn’t tie the hands of the entire country.
The Justice Department said that cleared the way to dole out cash to departments that do abide by the cooperation conditions.

It might take a few years, but I think when they lose funding, they'll have no choice but to comply. And then, hopefully the one's that turned the land into a shit hole will have to leave and go back to their own homeland shit hole.
