I just got a certificate of recognition in celebration of Forensic Nurses Week - In recognition of your leadership, care, and expertise in forensic nursing,
thank you for your commitment to excellence.

Can't complain about not getting a raise. We go that a few months back along with a benefits increase for phone costs and gas. So this certificate and a nice jacket with the agency emblem is pretty nice.

Got a long 16+ hour day today. This helps.

Thanks ETMN. I keep getting myself in trouble because I cannot follow rules that are not sound and prudent. "I don't make the rules." and "Because the rules say so." don't work for me. General election in the US tomorrow.

Make sure you do your part to strike a blow against Democracy by voting. Now, back in the day, they had us ignorant, unwashed masses convinced that voting was the very essence of a democracy, but that was before the Democrats enlightened us in the past couple of weeks and let the cat out of the bag that it's only a democracy if you are voting for their party, and single-party rule. Anything else is, of course, a threat to democracy.

That explains, of a certainty, why the Soviet Union could claim to be a "democracy" under one-party rule, and the same for North Korea, China, Cuba, etc - it's not a democracy if YOUR opinions are not in lock-stepping, goose-marching conformity with the Ruling Class - only ONE way will do in a democracy, and that has to be THEIR way - the way of the Ruling Class.

With it being a Full Blood Moon tonight and a lunar eclipse happening in just a few hours I prefer to err on the side of superstition in this case. I generally have shit for luck and don't need to take any chances.
