New US Ministry of Truth - MiniTru
#1
Mayorkas, Chief of American Brownshirts - i.e. the "Department of Homeland Security", has announced the standing up of of a new Orwell-style "MiniTru" that is tasked with directing how we think by promoting regime propaganda and eradicating opposing opinion, even if factual, under the guise of "disinformation". DHS has named it the Disinformation Governance Board. An appropriate title I suppose, since it's membership have proven themselves to be adept at propagating disinformation. The name itself is just a whisker away from "Ministry of Truth", as it would seem to promote the idea that they are eradicating disinformation rather than promoting it. Orwell well understood the Marxist proclivity for naming things the opposite of what they actually are.

Actually, that name is a double-entendre - it leaves the impression that it is going to combat disinformation, yet in the very name says is is going to GOVERN disinformation - i.e., push it out to the Masses, determine WHICH disinformation we receive under the guise of "information", and which information we DON'T receive under the guise of "disinformation". "GOVERN Disinformation", in short. They are pushing it right into our faces, and daring us to dissent.

What could possibly go wrong with putting veteran liars and propagandists in charge of determining what is Truth, and what we are allowed to know or think?

The Chief of this division is a woman named Nina Jankowicz, promoted by DHS as an "Information Warfare Expert", but in reality a propaganist, going by her previous public pronouncements. There is a thread here with more information on her.

When Bush first stood up the Department of Homeland Security, I was one of the few opposing voices against it, as I knew very well the nefarious direction it could and likely would take. Time has not shown me to be wrong. DHS is now second only to Department of Defense in number of armed agents on the ground, and the problem with that is that they are on the ground in the US, tasked against American Citizens for the most part. They are not here to defend us, they are here to defend a corrupt government against us.

Let's take a look at their professed mission. it is listed on their very own website to have 6 prongs:

1) - "Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security Threats" - has anyone else noticed that the phrase "terrorist threats" has increasingly been being directed at America Citizens rather than terrorists, citizens who coincidentally happen to oppose Marxist ideology and now regime policy (which is currently the same thing), and who are more and more being labeled as "domestic terrorists" which is regime code for "Conservative Americans", while Marxists are given free rein to burn down entire city blocks with impunity, with the allege VP among other Leftist politicians footing the bill for their bail?

2) - "Secure U.S. Borders and Approaches" - has anyone else noticed that the borders are anything BUT secure under this regime, and that Border Patrol and ICE in general has been turned into a defacto Welcome Wagon? Under the BidenHarris regime, around 700,000 "Gotaways" - almost 3/4 of a MILLION of them - have slipped right past Border Patrol and into the US - that just can't be accidental. Who do you suppose these "Gotaways" might be who wanted to elude the Border Patrol Welcome Wagon and take a pass on getting their free cell phones and transportation to their final destination? Fentanyl imports are increasing, and have killed about 100,000 Americans. Illegal aliens are met by Border patrol and given walking papers, a cell phone, and a ride to whatever destination they desire. How is that anything BUT a Welcome Wagon for illegal aliens? How can that possibly be construed to be "securing the U.S. border" as the mission statement claims?

3) - "Secure Cyberspace and Critical Infrastructure" - like they secured the pipeline that went down a year or two ago and deprived the east coast of fuel? That kind of "cybersecurity"? Seems like their idea of "cybersecurity" is putting out the word that "Hey guys, some unspecified cyberattack may happen at some unspecified time - good luck!" I could do that myself for half the price they are charging to do it, and with far less personnel.

4) - "Preserve and Uphold the Nation's Prosperity and Economic Security" - look around you, with a particular eye on the economic situation in America and the prospects for prosperity, and ask yourself how are they doing there?

5) - "Strengthen Preparedness and Resilience" - I can't say much about this, since I've not noticed any of it going on anywhere. Preparedness and resilience against WHAT, one might ask... and what are they doing to strengthen either one? I've not noticed anything at all. Maybe they are referring to their militarization of local police forces through their "Fusion Centers", their distribution of military equipment to police forces that are supposed to be composed of policemen, not soldiers. Maybe that is what they mean by "preparation", but they are not preparing against any threats, they are preparing against YOU, when and if you get informed enough and pissed off enough to set the situation aright. Yeah, I reckon that could come under the heading of "strengthen preparedness and resilience", but it ain't in your favor, or mine, or the citizenry in general - it's in the favor of the regime. To maintain their iron grip around our throats.

6) - "Champion the DHS Workforce and Strengthen the Department" - This I can assure you they ARE doing. The first Duty of every bureaucratic Federal agency is to insure it's own survival and budget. This, too, is not about securing US as citizens, it's about securing THEMSELVES.

So in 5 of the 6 missions they claim to be tasked with, they are dismal failures, and the 6th is only self-serving, not serving the American people. DHS should be disbanded immediately. We are not getting our money's worth with them, going by their own mission statement, out of their own mouths. They never should have been instituted to begin with.

Congress could end this by 9 am tomorrow, if only they would, through their Power of the Purse - de-funding DHS as a rogue government agency gone wrong. Problem is, it's not gone rogue, it is exactly what the government has on order.

Now they want to task this inept and superfluous agency with deciding what WE are allowed to think as well? Orwell would be proud. Make no mistake - this is not about combating disinformation, it is about promoting regime disinformation and eradicating dissenting opinion and independent thought. It's about policing Wrongthink. it is, in Orwellian terms, the Thought Police.

This is a panic move by an Inner Party who see the narrative slipping away from them, greased by the prospect that actual, real Truth may break out in places like Twitter, and dissipate their story line in a flood of fact. When that narrative eludes them, their power will crumble in the harsh light of fact, and that is something they cannot abide by, so they are giving us a Ministry of Truth to regain and retain their power at the expense of OUR knowledge and ability to think for ourselves based upon information we receive.

THAT is why they must control the flow of information and disinformation, to make sure we get the proper dosage of each to maintain THEIR power over us.

I do not need a government agency filtering my information. I am quite able to filter it myself, and separate the wheat from the chaff. I do not need a government agency telling me what to think and what not to think. I am able to make those determinations on my own. The First Amendment enshrined in the Bill of Right emphatically says the government is NOT allowed to do exactly what they are going to do.

And here we are. The government is egregiously ignoring the Constitution, and daring us to do anything about it.

Welcome to 1984. Mind the Inner Party members - they can be duplicitous, even to Outer Party members, and much more so to the Proles.

Make sure you are up on your math well enough to add 2+2 into 5. Otherwise, it will be the rat cages for you.

I've talked to some folks about this today who are scared by it. They describe it as "terrifying". Oddly, it doesn't scare me in the least. Pisses me off, yeah, but it doesn't scare me. I'm a lot closer to the end of my run than I am to the beginning of it, and am comfortable going down with a bullet in my chest, blood in my mouth, and a curse on my lips. I never planned on living forever anyhow.

Nope, it don't scare me at all. There won't be any math tests or rat cages for me. When they come for me just for speaking my mind, there will just be a brief but intense dustup, several bodies in search of bags, and then, nothing more... and I'm good with that. At least I'll have company on the road to hell.

I getting to that same point. Except, when I get to Hell, I'll be cleaning the devil's toilet and picking up cigarette butts on my breaks, for eternity, so not looking forward to that part.

Legacy media is highly coordinated by the mission of the United States Agency for Global Media to inform, engage, and connect people around the world in support of freedom and democracy.

Quote:On August 22, 2018, as part of a larger modernization effort, the Broadcasting Board of Governors changed its name to the United States Agency for Global Media.

The change was made to help constituents better understand the work that the Agency and its networks do. USAGM remains rigorously committed to objective journalism and the firewall protecting journalists and content from political influence remains in place.
USAGM history

The "Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012" apparently does not apply to the Pentagon and therefore insulates propaganda spewing out of White House and which refers to Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) and from that led me to National Association of Broadcasters (NAB); previous CEO is Gordon Smith, a former United States Senator from Oregon. In 2020, Curtis LeGeyt became the CEO who was on the staff of the 2008 Obama For America presidential campaign.

The NAB represents more than 8,300 terrestrial radio and television stations as well as broadcast networks.

Here's a law review paper on it...

Quote:APPLE PIE PROPAGANDA? THE SMITH–MUNDT ACT BEFORE AND AFTER THE REPEAL OF THE DOMESTIC DISSEMINATION BAN [PDF]

The 2013 Amendment now allows the State Department and the BBG to better combat domestic terrorism, and also promotes greater government transparency. However, the 2013 Amendment creates new problems. Now, there is little preventing the State Department and the BBG from widely disseminating unattributed government-produced programming within the United States.
Transparency and government go together like oil & water.

"Propaganda" - by Edward Bernays, which he says future society will be run by science and a managerial technocracy. (pg 127)

"Soldiers of Reason - The RAND Corporation and the Rise of the American Empire" (2009) by Alex Abella. The central key think tank mind behind the entire deep state Cold War era that essentially sold everyone on the Cold War propaganda. They created this matrix of how to dialectically steer and control minds throughout that whole period. The idea of an interconnected technocratic AI SkyNet grid to control the world came out of RAND. This also includes knowledge of the human psyche for psychological warfare operations.

Abella ends the book with the modern American ideology, the last century is essentially a creation of the RAND Corp. which shifted American society from a production based to consumer based and a welfare state. The early days of the RAND camp were the fathers of the Trotskyite neoconservatism. RAND is dedicated to scientific government > Technocracy.

My own take on this is that this so called  Disinformation Governance Board
will not go away. Even in a hypothetical situation where the Republicans
clean house and take the house, senate and presidency, the
program will remain. It's a tool that can be used to monitor and control
the public. And that is something that is in both parties' best interest.

If they talk about and act on disassembling it (which is a big if), then it will be a ratchet effect.
they'll repeal a portion but not all. Then in a given time period, they'll
reinstate and add. Up three, back two, Up three, back two. Ad infinitum.
This is a logical next step to the Patriot act and it's offshoots.

We moved from a republic to  an oligarchy quite some time ago. It's now evolving into
totalitarianism.

Careful with Tucker .IMO he is controlled opposition .

He was the jack ass that was given sensitive evidence from Bidens laptop and was told that it was sensitive but yet tucker chose to send that sensitive evidence via snail mail and not even secured or certified mail just plain simple mail. Shocker the package went missing for days and after people called him out it miraculous appeared and Im sure the 3 letter agencies didn't scrub it or acquired it. Also immediately after he also professed his admiration for Hunter biden and that hunter is not a bad guy and he new hunter. Also he never talks or focuses on the real issues in govt and has his audience chasing their tails with primarily playing the blame the OTHER party game .

Anyways . yes anyone that supports what is going on with the democrats is a complete idiot and should be sent to live in a  shithole country where there is no freedom of speech or the freedom to be express yourself even when wrong. Unfortunately Americans are suffering from having it to good for far to long. I know this having been born in one of those shit hole socialist / dictatorship countries.

Having said that don't be fooled by the Republicans for one second that they don't want the same thing. Republicans are now just playing the passive good cop but when it comes to it and they get control they never undo the stupidity of the left. Trump might have been an exception, but he was too stupid to not realize that hiring the swamp to go after swamp was not a good idea. Unfortunately he never learned and kept making the same mistake until his last day in office.

A censorship czar, speech police. I call it a crock of shit plain and simple. These yahoos in DC haven't got a fucking clue of what to do. Right now they are throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks, all to save their political careers so they can keep helping their NWO masters.

They are taking the focus off of what the real problems are. More sleight of hand.

I was a bit shaken (call it reality checked) by Tucker's story @"727Sky" posted above.  I would think there's not a lot of time left before the radical half of the government decides to act against The People ... once and for all.
