I'm sure I read somewhere that it was from a video game but I'm not 100% sure.

Just curious: Why is it, would one think, that the Europeans are not busting ass to do exactly that?

I was on the bad-guy side of the Berlin Wall twice during the Cold War ... once to Poland and once to Czechoslovakia.  The desolation I saw first-hand wouldn't properly register in my brain.  Even today it still seems like some kind of fantasy dreamscape out of a Tolkien novel.

And the people who came pouring across into West Germany when the wall came down .. they're still alive ... and they lived through that time directly exposed to what I'm describing.  Why aren't they throwing every bit of activism they can muster up to help their European brethren?

There is so much American manufactured military equipment stashed and cached throughout Europe ... no one reading these words could even fathom (unless they'd seen some of it themselves).  Pull it out.  Dust it off. Hand it over.  How hard is that?  Why does America even need to lift another finger.  All that stuff came from us already.

Long but stark video of Ukrainians salvaging a blown-up Russian unit that was dug-in with armored vehicles on the high ground in a tree line. The Russians did everything right except be there in that location. Not only do you have to deal with the shrapnel, but the wood splinters and your own exploding ammo. ‘Close counts’ with artillery due to concussive effects even if you escape the shrapnel by being in a bunker.

If the west is demonizing everything Russian (athletes, artists, everyday items, etc.), it plays into Putin's hands. Anyone who may have had some voice against what Putin is doing has now been crucified by western propaganda and individual sanctions. They are left with little choice but to be good Russians and support the long haul.
