Great Song by a Great Band you will LIKELY Never Have Heard Of!
#1
I have seen The Red Pine Timber Co play live about 5 or 6 times now.
Mostly in pubs and festivals around the NE of Scotland.
They are one of my all-time favourite live bands who always create an amazing atmosphere whenever they play, and I've met them in person a few times too.

This is one of my favourite tracks from the CD that I bought from them...

I hope that you like it as much as I do!

NOW - What's YOUR GREAT SONG by a GREAT BAND that We've likely NEVER heard of?

Local band, everybody I grew up with has a "river" that we can substitute for the Pecatonica. First song on this page.

I love all genres of music, except for old-time country.  You wouldn't think that based on where I grew up, but I've always been a rocker, heavy metal, blues kind of girl.   tinybiggrin

My very favorite is rock blues, like Kenny Wayne Shepherd plays.

My favorite from the Vengaboys - oh, for the good old days escaping out the back of a gasthaus because the polezei were boiling in through the front!  :

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Hey There SW!

I'm in the central belt but have lots of friends in Montrose & the NE.
I think Red Pine hail from Perth or thereabouts, but I've seen them mostly in the NE pubs & festivals when I'm up that way.

cheers!

Not a fan of the video (per se) but, great tune...and, I just stumbled across the band - so - don't know if they're actually a Great Band...but, could be.
Royal Blood (the band)
"Figure It Out" (the tune)
