The few times I pop in there, I always have page loading issues, has been happening for months.

I'm assuming it's being hosted on a pretty cheap or low end server somewhere. It's more work/frustration than it's worth to read the latest news.

After they Shrunk our AVATAR to smaller than a postage stamp and took away the cool Emojis,  what was the point in being there and having the Grammar Nazis Constantly Criticizing my posts.

You could create another acct and just post in Mandarin. Bitching is sometimes allowed (to a degree for a specific topic) IF a mod or Admin creates a thread for it. I think, not sure, varies. I usually not pay much attention to the fire storms.

I'm working on that, but I have to pack on a few more pounds first. So far, all the beer seems to be going straight to my belly, with the net result that now I look a lot like a bowling ball perched on two drinking straws when I'm naked.

That reminds me of something which occurred, allegedly, at the historic "vote of no confidence" in the House of Commons which helped bring Maggie Thatcher to power. One of the M.P.'s from Ulster (it would have to be an Irishman) had been boycotting the chamber for years as a form of protest about Ulster policy. I think he was on the Protestant side. But he saw this vote as such an important event that he suspended his boycott and made a special point of flying in to London "so that I can abstain in person".

I don't have any qualms about about that. RN is not for everyone, and me personally, I like that, since I would not enjoy being here as much, if it was. Guess I am just being selfish. Do I have to line up for the whip?

Wrote a thank you thread to RN on ats for their graciousness after ats went down, was removed because, for whatever reason.
Was a bit disappointed so am gradually making the change to RN
Seems they don’t like to share anything, makes me not want to share either

RN lacks the “flags”, I find the flagging of topics helpful when choosing what to browse, flags indicate importance effectively when the title is a bit vague
Also find ats current affair topics pretty good as opposed to here, no offence, just as I see it
I don’t watch msm so these forums are my main news source, bit strange when I think about it 

Anyway, not really missing ats, enjoying this community feel here as much if not more than ats, just miss flags and current affairs

Most likely because a hot tub that size is no longer a hot tub. it's a boat hull test tank. Expensive.
We could always buy a bunch of kiddie pools.  I'll bring the baked beans and Mr. Bubble!!!  Improvise, adapt and overcome!

ATS was fairly well thought out ... and it was a one-of-a-kind custom forum.  If you wanna flag an OP, you can click the 5-stars at the top right of the thread.

RN-3 is more of a cookie-cutter format.  It bugs me when the boards are hopping and a thread you were watching gets pushed off the 'front page'.  Makes me hafta go chase after it.
