Democrats are all about their own selfish agendas and they're showing it more than ever before !

The other day the Senate wanted to consider a Republican Bill on police reform.

Naturally the Democrats blocked it and it can't be voted on because of Democrats !!

The City of Oakland Cal.if/or.nia decided to get rid of police in the schools !!

I guess they forgot about all the school shootings ?

And the House actually passed a Bill to make Washington DC a State !!

Many believe the Bill is actually UnConstitutional !!

Democrats used some wild tactics in 2007 and 2008 to win the Presidency, and they're using similar tactics now !!

Many people know they crashed the economy in 2007 and are doing it again right now with the C19 virus debacle !!

Scott, who is African American, has been working on the issue for years. He had the full support of the rest of the Republican caucus. He also agreed to consider whatever amendments Democrats offered.

The episode showed that Democrats do not actually care about police reform. Nor do they want to unite the nation behind any sort of bipartisan compromise. They simply want to use the issue in the elections, which they hope will give them the House, the Senate, and the presidency. Then they can get rid of the filibuster and pass whatever they want.

I'm a conservative libertarian that votes republican 99.999% of the time but let's be real about the economy under Bush. Tax breaks for the rich, two unfunded wars, and  blank checks to private military contractors was the kickoff to the economy we're seeing now.

It gets complicated but back then, we kept hearing Democrats say that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, government affordable housing policies, and the Community Reinvestment Act were not primary causes of the crisis.

That alone is enough for me to believe Democrats were lying and their cohorts undercover were behind the crash for political gain (and they got the gains)

That crash was the direct result of racial pandering. The Feds felt that the poor weren't being treated fairly because they couldn't afford mortgages. So they started pressuring banks to write mortgages to people who couldn't afford them. Of course the poor ate that crap right up... there's a reason they are poor and it rhymes with money management... and soon enough they were in default. The banks did what they always do: they found a way to cut their losses after chewing through the government funds and started bundling loans to sell off at a discount. The places that bought these sub-prime packages then went to the government for a bailout because they were "too big to fail."

In the end, the rich got richer and the poor got poorer as well as were kicked out of those nice shiny new homes the establishment gave them.

The trigger was the spending by Bush.. that was the fuse that set the bubble to bursting. But the TNT was the sub-prime loans backed and promoted by the government to get votes using "free stuff."

If we're being real about the economy, it was booming under Trump before the COVID hit, so I'd say the COVID is to blame and Bush is just a footnote in history at this point.
