What is a woman ?

 but mind you, I don't see the young generations of men anywhere close to what we were, when we were young. And that is ok with me. I know that my grandfather was having the same kind of thought about my generation. Different times, different men AND different women.

And that is at the heart of it. Testosterone levels in men have, in general, been steadily decreasing for the last 150 years or so. But being a "man" or a "woman" cannot be boiled down to just genetics or hormones. It's a complex melange of all of that, plus the effects on brain chemistry and function. There is no simple answer to the question, and since I am a simple man, that is why I didn't even attempt to answer it.

There just ain't no "one size fits all" answer, and currently in the world there are way too many people willing to die on the hill that they think is the "right" one, to the exclusion of the potential for anyone else to be "right" as well, but "right" as in having just a different piece of a much bigger puzzle. They end up taking fire from all of the other "right" hills occupied by folks with tunnel vision, but staring down a different tunnel. They do not allow for the inclusion and diversity inherent in the blending of the several different aspects, all in different proportions according to which individual is under the microscope, that all work together in a complex dance to create a "man" or a "woman".

Tunnel vision is a very bad thing - it blinds one to the different discoveries to be made all around, outside of that tunnel.
