This is an ongoing story and of course the news changes quickly. Before we could get the video out, the news came out that Russia and Ukraine had reached a deal to let grain exports continue:

Not good when the largest fund/asset manager on the planet starts worrying about food.
We have to learn how to grow and eat locally.
Most of the food we eat is processed, boxed, bagged, shipped, and full of preservatives. We seem to prefer foods from other regions, but that is a luxury we may not have in the future.
Growing up we ate of the land. Off what we grew and what grew wild. We hunted for our food, and we ate mostly from the river, and the bay.
No one went hungry, but I will admit that we didn't view food the way people view food today. None of us children were obese, and very few adults were overweight.
The holidays were the only time that food was a luxury.
For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.
Yet I still post.
