Everything about this smells funny. The timing and the source.
The last month or so I have seen and read where many were speculating Putin has something wrong with him.. Parkinson's was at the top of the list.. If he has appointed someone else to sit in his chair while he is not available then there might be some validity to this story.
If its true, then his mental faculties may be fading. Why would you embark on an invasion knowing youd need a surgery?
Sounds more like a convienient excuse when he dpesnt make it through surgery or outs some hidden knnives waiting in the wings.
Pretty sure none of this can be taken at face value. However, ive been wrong before.
