I wish I had my own tv channel. Sigh . . .

Modern TVs will pick up both analog and digital signals. VCRs and DVD players have a coax connection with an analog signal for channels 3 or 4. If you can design an antenna for that signal and find an inline linear amplifier for it, you could potentially broadcast a pirate analog channel that people would eventually find while scanning for channels on their TV. You can set it up for your own home with a weak signal or crank up the output and cover a larger area. That would be illegal of course, even for home use I believe.

ETA: There is an opportunity in my area for a pirate radio or TV station to have at least seasonal listeners or viewers. If you can spread the information on the times the station broadcasts, there is enough public land around the ponds and lakes to set up on to cover campgrounds and recreational properties. You'd have to keep on the move and stay hidden because the FCC would eventually come after you. You can legally broadcast one tenth of a watt on the commercial AM radio frequencies, however, that might cover a 1/4 square mile if your antenna is up high and in the open. You could probably get away with simulcasting from several stations, but that is probably going to get the FCC's attention.

So after reading all of that I am concluding that what you are saying is, is that people scanning tv channels might be interested in watching me in various stages of pooping? Or did I read that wrong ;)
