Is it more of an addiction? A special club for lonely people ?
There are plenty of other places.
I met my wife because ATS went down, there is even a facebook page dedicated to that called ATS Downtime, and I was reminded of the birth of it a few days ago. Led to to another group, closed to all but members called the bunker.
One thing led to another, long story, I am happier then I have ever been.
Every site holds a special place to you, but don't throw all your eggs in one basket.
ATS was the first CT community I joined. I was chasing after the conspiracy surrounding the JFK Murder.
I didn't really go to other places, as ATS was active enough to hold my attention.
It was a lot different back then. And it's gone through a lot of changes and a lot of members.
I get about not having all you eggs in one basket. I joined reddit about four years ago, and mostly avoid the insanity there with the subs I have joined. Like r/husky, r/weather. r/knitting, r/aww, r/oldschoolcool.
I think ATS is home to members for a lot of different reasons.
kdog, I am glad you have found happiness in your life :)
That is more than many people can say.
Thank you ! You should try r/conspiracy .
